I am a creative professional who lives behind the lens.  I’ve always been fascinated with cameras and the visual medium, which has really made me notice the world around me.  And that’s the really cool part of it – I’ll never be at a loss for stuff to photograph!

I enjoy shooting and making images of just about anything.  There are certain types of photography that interest me more but I can, and do, shoot just about anything.  I enjoy the challenge of making great images no matter the subject.  I specifically enjoy capturing sports (specifically bicycle racing and multisport events), landscapes, architecture (specializing in real estate listing photography) and aerial imagery.

I’ve directed live television broadcasts.  I’ve captured the largest firefighters’ parade in the world.  I’ve covered Ironman® events.  I’ve been to the Tour de France and captured images at the UCI world championship races.  I’m a Getty Images contributor.  I love traveling (although I don’t get to do it much).  And I was the Time Magazine Person of the Year in 2006.

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.”
