Inside

I’ve shot plenty of stuff on the exterior and I’ve always wanted to just walk around inside and shoot, but I never can get it completely empty – until today.  I took advantage of some time before the annual band holiday concert and did a little walk-around.  I know a lot of Handley faculty follow these posts so I hope I wasn’t too far out of bounds with my little photo walk.  I’m really digging the updated Protune features on the GoPro – now I’m just waiting for the GoPro cameras to start shooting in RAW.

I like what it can do, but there's still such a difference between JPEG and RAW images in post.

Filters

I know a lot of people aren’t big on the “creative” images full of filters that come off a cell phone these days – me included.  But I’m a real sucker for a photo that has that graphic novel look to it.

I chose to only take my phone to the Christmas parade tonight.  My thinking was that I’ve shot this parade for 6 years now and I always come home with the same shots.  BORING!!  So here’s what I came home with tonight.

Senior

We have a senior in high school and I’m going a little nuts with the photos.  I suppose that’s saying something considering the nature of this blog.  As I’m just snapping off a bunch of tests shots this evening while she’s prepping, this happened…

Rain

How untimely is it that the first drop of rain today fell at the exact moment the band officially took the field.  At least I snapped off a few images before then.
